Arsenal have heard the talk of this new “Europe super league” but even if the club joins the league, they deny leaving the premier league.

The sudden idea was first released in the German magazine 'Der Spiegel' which published a story that claimed several of Europe's biggest clubs were possibly going to sign up to this newly founded league in secret, but even after the news was out in the open, Arsenal is still reluctant to join.

Based on evidence from the source 'Football Leaks', Der Spiegel claimed 11 clubs, including Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Bayern and Dortmund, Arsenal could sign up to a league, with five more famous clubs like Celtic, are invited to make it a 16-team competition.

Vinai Venkatesham, managing director at Arsenal, is keen for the club to be involved in any conversations surrounding a new league but still want to stay in their current league, the premier league, at the same time.

"Arsenal isn't or never have been interested in playing in any competition that weakens the Premier League," he said. "The Premier League is the world's leading league in the leading sport, we don't want to do anything to damage the Premier League."

I think this new league could affect clubs, like injuries and fees to fly all over the place to play in leagues, but it still needs more time and planning, to make sure it is suitable for all clubs.
